River Birch (Betula nigra)
A deciduous tree with a medium/fast growth rate and reaches a mature height of 40-70 ft. This tree prefers full sun and grows best in moist soils (good for low lying areas), has bark that curls once mature, has catkins in the spring and yellow fall color, and works well as stream bank erosion control. Sold in a bundle of 25 bare root seedlings, 12-18" tall.
