Paper Birch (Betula papyrifera)

A deciduous tree with a medium/fast growth rate and reaches a mature height of 50-70 ft. This tree prefers full sun and grows best in sand to loam soils, is very cold hardy, has white bark that peels off in strips, and has catkins in the spring and golden fall color. Paper Birch are often used as a landscape tree. Sold in a bundle of 25 bare root seedlings, 12-18" tall.
