Black Cherry (Prunus serotina)

A deciduous tree with a medium/fast growth rate and reaches a mature height of 50-75 ft. This tree prefers full sun and grows in a variety of soils, provides food for wildlife, has white fragrant flowers in the spring followed by drooping clusters of pea sized, dark red fruit that ripen in late summer, and has yellow to red fall color. Black Cherry also provides great hardwood for wood working. Sold in a bundle of 25 seedlings, 18-24" tall.
