Somali language interpreters will be supporting this event.

Come meet people from local organizations that manage water in your community and learn the answers to common questions, such as:

• Is it safe to drink the water? Or use it to water vegetables?

• Can I eat the fish?

• How do I know if it’s safe to swim at the beach?

• What can I do to protect myself against flooding?

• And, who should I reach out to when I have questions about water?

This will be an open-ended conversation, specifically designed for Somali people in our community.

Our workshop will be facilitated by Karla and Mauricio Montes de Oca of MoKa Solutions Group, with funding support from Minnesota Board of Water and Soil Resources.
