Snow Shoe & Seed at Pine Point

  • Pine Point Regional Park 11900 Norell Avenue North Stillwater (map)

Join Pollinator Friendly Alliance, Washington Conservation District, and Washington County Parks to seed the Butterfly Sanctuary over the snow at Pine Point Park. Learn about this cool butterfly sanctuary project to help save the pollinators, help spread seed over the snow, warm near the big bonfire, and explore the gateway trail through Pine Point Park.

Bring your own snow shoes and snow boots. We'll have a few snow shoes on hand. Be sure to register to receive a parking permit. You will receive a parking permit from us before 1/22 via email. Dress warm. We'll meet in the parking lot at the trailhead at 4:00 pm and walk down the trail to the nearby seeding area. Feel free to explore the trails afterwards, bring your skis along if you like, and stick around for a second winter event with Washington County Parks at 7 pm, Full moon guided trail hike.
