Learn how to add some beauty to your yard using native plants, raingardens and shoreline plantings at this free design workshop while also hearing an update on Marine's goal of becoming recognized as a Green Step City. Get inspired by stories and photos of nearby neighborhood raingardens and then sit down with landscape designers from the Washington Conservation District and Master Gardeners to plan a raingarden or native planting for your own home using an aerial photo of your property. Best of all, you may qualify for a cost-share or plant grant to make your garden design come to life!
