Who should participate?
City, county ans state public works directors, street engineers and superintendents, planners, watershed staff, and others involved in implementing street sweeping as a stormwater best management practice.
Workshop Objectives:
- Present final results from the University study "Quantifying nutrient removal by street sweeping."
- Introduce and provide a tutorial for a new Excel spreadsheet tool.
- Discuss barriers for street sweeping and regulatory challenges in acquiring credit towards clean water goals for street sweeping.
- Provide input for a more comprehensive training in 2014.
Workshop Fee: $20 (after two participants from the same organization/company have paid, the remaining participants from same organization/company are free)
