The western half of West Lakeland is in the Valley Branch Watershed, while the eastern portion is part of the Middle St. Croix Watershed.

Planting for Clean Water

Cost-share grants for native plantings, raingardens and native shoreline plantings are available though the Valley Branch Watershed District and the Middle St. Croix Watershed. Contact Rusty Schmidt (VBWD) or Amy Carolan (MSCWMO) to schedule a free site visit at your home.
