LAKE GAUGE PROGRAM

Over 100 lake gauges are monitored through the DNR Lake Level Program in Washington County. Each spring WCD assists DNR in setting and surveying lake gauges. WCD staff or volunteers monitor the gauges and the data collected is used to measure the change in water levels throughout the open water season.
