HOST A BLUE THUMB PARTY FOR FRIENDS AND NEIGHBORSAre you looking for an excuse to eat, drink and be merry? Invite your friends and neighbors to your home for a Blue Thumb Party. At the party we will learn how native gardens, raingardens and shoreline gardens can enhance your property and we will also find out about local grant programs to help you get started. During the party, we will also play a few short games to help people learn about water pollution and the benefits of native plants. Volunteer to host a party and we will create invitations for you to deliver to neighbors and buy food and snacks for the guests. To host a Blue Thumb Party, e-mail Angie Hong at angie.hong@mnwcd.org.
