Carnelian-Marine St. Croix Watershed District Landfall

The Carnelian-Marine Watershed District was established in June of 1981 to prevent property damage caused by fluctuating water levels on Big Marine, Big Carnelian, and Little Carnelian Lakes. In 2007, the district merged with the Marine Watershed Management Organization to become the Carnelian-Marine St. Croix Watershed District (CMSCWD).

Cost-share Grants

Fifty percent match grants are available for people in priority areas within the watershed to plant raingardens, restore shoreline property or install other projects that help to reduce runoff pollution. Contact Amy Carolan to schedule a free site visit.

To host a neighborhood party, request a presentation or organize a volunteer project contact Angie Hong.
